Supporting Sponsorship is available to individuals or businesses who would like to assist with the CAS Outreach Program. This program makes a concerted effort to encourage astronomy teaching and learning by inviting local high school science teachers and their students. At CAS they will be exposed to astronomical research that employs the practical application to the scientific research process. The CAS Outreach Program also allows teachers to network with other teachers, students to socialize with other students, and for all to be exposed to an academic lecture event outside the regular classroom experience. Supporting Sponsors will be recognized on the website and they may provide a link to their website or simply have their affiliation recognized as being a company or individual who supports community involvement.
